ASEAN Access Week: FinTech and Textiles

ASEAN Access Week is the autumn showcase of how ASEAN Access can benefit businesses and help them learn and launch in new markets. Over 3 days, from 22-24 November, we are organising webinars and panel sessions, and are bringing companies the chance to find new business partners and opportunities through dedicated virtual matchmaking events.

First, we are inviting businesses for a full day of webinars and panel sessions on:

What will you hear about?

Fintech is paving the way into the future. MSMEs in ASEAN need to understand and leverage the technologies brought about the 4th Industrial Revolution in sustaining and growing the enterprise while building resilience. Cross-border payments are important for expanding business within and beyond ASEAN where financial technologies (FinTech) and understanding its providers is the key in achieving new market access and expansion. Join the 1st panel session to hear more:

Growth of MSMEs in ASEAN through cross-border opportunities

FinTech is also changing the landscape of digital inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked. Often, FinTech works with on the grass-root level and provides solutions that support sustainable efforts in promoting financial digital inclusion for underserved communities, bringing greater access for all. Leveraging FinTech for Sustainability

Moving on to the world of textiles, it is increasingly necessary to promote the sustainability and circular economy by highlighting the importance of environmentally friendly and sustainable fibres as textile materials through knowledge sharing of the fibre extraction, production practices by various ASEAN countries and the corresponding business potential for increased market access through connecting the regional supply chains within ASEAN. Join the 3rd session and see how your business can benefit from or contribute to sustainable fibres and textiles:

Knowledge sharing of sustainable fibres and their market potential

All events on Day 1 take place through the same Zoom link and we will email you the link the day before.

For the matchmaking events, you need to register separately, as each matchmaking meeting is pre-booked private and you will only meet with the person whom you have confirmed the meeting with, through your private Zoom link that will be emailed to you.

FinTech Virtual Matchmaking
23 November

This day is all about matchmaking. This means, there is no webinar, there are no group product presentations, but all companies who are interested in FinTech or are working with FinTech, are invited to a free virtual matchmaking event. If you’re a developer or technology supplier, or a business interested in speaking with experts about your business and how it could use fintech, join this matchmaking event and meet new partners and opportunities.

After you sign up, you can send meeting invitations to other participants, and then on 23 November, all meetings that have been confirmed, will be in your agenda with zoom links that take you directly into your personal and private virtual meeting, with the other person.

ASEAN Access DAY 3 Textiles Virtual Matchmaking 24 November

This day is all about matchmaking. This means, there is no webinar, there are no group product presentations, but all companies who are active in the field of sustainable textiles and fibres are invited to a free virtual matchmaking event. If you’re a supplier or producer, or user of sustainable fibres, or have special production technologies, join this matchmaking event and meet new partners and opportunities.
