Vietnam and Cambodia present significant Business-to-Business (B2B) market potential for businesses in both countries. According to statistical data, the trade flow between the two countries has gradually increased. In 2023, total trade value reached $6.6 billion in 2023, increasing more than 7% compared to 2022. In the first two months of 2024, trade value hit over US$1.41 billion, making Vietnam the second biggest trade partner of Cambodia. However, the opportunities have not been fully tapped by businesses, especially SMEs.

The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) of Cambodia, Agency for Enterprise Development (AED) of Vietnam and other partners co-organize the virtual market talk and business matching “Agricultural and food products: Trade opportunities between Cambodia and Vietnam” on ASEAN Access MATCH.

The overall objective of the event is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of trade between Cambodia and Vietnam, the factors driving it, the key products and sectors involved, and the future opportunities and benefits of strengthening this important economic partnership.
