Participants Profile

SPARK offers translation services to individuals, businesses, and international organizations. We translate from Lao to English and from English to Lao. Building on decades of experience in formal translation, media liaison, diplomacy, and corporate communications, we established SPARK in April 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when access to accurate and timely information was important for the international community based in Laos. We translated official documents and made them widely available to the public, and received welcome praise for this initiative. Our translations are regularly used by legal firms and diplomatic missions. Our talent pool comprises professional translators, communication and media professionals, and former officials to ensure that we cover all disciplines and convey the correct meaning.
