Participants Profile

1- Research, propose and participate in the development of metrology development master plans and plans in the whole country, develop and submit to the General Director for approval the long-term, short-term and monthly operation plans of the Vietnam Metrology Institute. year and organize the implementation after approval. 2- Establishing, maintaining and exploiting the national metrological standard system. 3- Ensure alignment of national metrological standards to the international system of units (SI). 4- Maintain the system of legal units of measurement of Vietnam throughout the country. 5- Participate in formulating the planning for development of the national metrological standard system; participate in the formulation of metrology development master plans and plans throughout the country. 6- Participate in the development of legal and technical documents on metrology. 7- Manage and carry out metrological research and development activities. 8- Design, manufacture and supply measurement standards, measuring instruments, test and calibration means. Develop new measurement methods. 9- Carry out testing, calibration, measuring instruments and certification of standard samples. 10- Carrying out measurement, analysis, testing and assessment of measuring systems, measuring devices, goods, means of transportation of petrol, oil, gas and the environment. 11- Carrying out technical consultancy and appraisal in the field of environment. 12- Conduct technical appraisal in service of state management of metrology. 13- Compiling training textbooks on measurement. 14- Training of inspectors, calibration and testing technicians of measuring fields. 15- Consulting on building and applying a quality management system in accordance with international standards ISO 9001: 2008 and a management system in accordance with international standards ISO/IEC 17025:2005. 16- Conduct information work on measurement; 17.
