Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) or MASCI was established by the Ministry of Industry under a Cabinet Resolution on 10 September 1998. MASCI is a Networking Institute of Ministry of Industry, operating under the aegis of the Foundation for Industrial Development (FID) and Not-for-Profit Organization. MASCI provides quality services in order to create added value for industrial entrepreneurs and other types of organizations. 1. CERTIFICATION – providing services conforming to ISO, GHPs & HACCP, GMP (FDA) and other standards. 2. INSPECTION – providing services according to standards, criteria, and requirements i.e. Thai Industrial Standard (TIS), Quality Management Standards and Environment Management Standards. 3. VERIFICATION & VALIDATION – providing services for GHG, carbon footprint, carbon credit and other sustainable development projects. 4. TRAINING – providing services in the areas of management system, conformity assessment and standards that relate to capability building for every sector. 5. CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT – providing system and auditor development services for conformity assessment bodies. 6. STANDARD DEVELOPMENT – providing development and review services on criteria and standards, including development of audit manual in regards to criteria and standards for stakeholders. 7. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT – providing sustainability management services for projects and activities according to Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs i.e. Sustainable development report, sustainable procurement and tourism.
